Information We Collect
Pics does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All photos, edits, collages, projects, and preferences are stored exclusively on your device. Your photos never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share them. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, location data, or any other personally identifiable information.
Photo Library & Camera Access
Pics requests access to your Photo Library so you can select photos to edit and save your finished work. If you grant camera access, it is used solely to capture new photos for editing within the App. These permissions are optional and initiated entirely by you. We do not upload, transmit, or store any of your photos on external servers.
AI Features & On-Device Processing
All AI features — including AI Enhance, AI Portrait Retouch, and AI Background Removal — run entirely on your device using Apple's Core ML and Vision frameworks. No photos or image data are sent to external servers or cloud services for AI processing. Your photos remain private at all times.
In-App Purchases
Pics offers an optional subscription ('Pics PRO') that unlocks premium features. This purchase is processed entirely through Apple's App Store and StoreKit framework. We do not process or store any payment information. All payment transactions are handled by Apple according to their Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Services
Pics does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The App uses only Apple system frameworks: StoreKit for in-app purchases, Photos framework for library access, Core ML and Vision for on-device AI processing, and UIKit for sharing. No user data is shared with any third party.
Data Security & Retention
Since all data remains on your device and is never transmitted, your photos and projects are protected by your device's built-in security features. You can delete individual projects within the App at any time. Uninstalling the App will permanently remove all associated data. We do not retain any data on external servers.
