What We Collect
PostCard collects the minimum information needed to deliver the app experience: a Display Name (the name you choose, visible to your friends), Postcard Drawings (images and drawing data you create and send), Friend Connections (who you are connected with in the app), Streak Data (daily exchange history between you and your friends), and a Device Token used solely for delivering push notifications you opt into.
How We Store Your Data
All data is stored using Apple's CloudKit service: your data lives in your personal iCloud account, we do not operate separate servers or databases, data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple, and we cannot access your iCloud account or its contents.
What We Don't Collect
We do not collect your email address, phone number, or real name. We do not track your location. We do not use analytics or third-party tracking SDKs. We do not serve advertisements. We do not sell, share, or rent any user data to third parties.
Notifications
PostCard may send push notifications for postcard deliveries, streak reminders, and friend requests. You can enable or disable each type in Settings. You can also disable all notifications through iOS Settings at any time.
In-App Purchases
PostCard offers an optional 'Gold' subscription managed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not process or store any payment information. Purchase history is managed by Apple.
Children's Privacy & Data Deletion
PostCard is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us so we can remove it. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings > Delete Account — this permanently removes your profile, postcards, friend connections, and streaks from all devices and iCloud.
