Who We Are
Numbly is a math practice app for children aged roughly 4–8, made by JP Studio ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and how. The short version: Numbly collects no data — no accounts, no ads, no tracking, no analytics. Everything your child does in the app stays on your device.
Information We Collect
None. Numbly does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information — from children or adults. Specifically, the app has no user accounts or sign-in; no advertising and no third-party ad networks; no analytics or tracking SDKs; no social features, chat, or user-generated content sharing; and no external links inside areas children can reach.
Information Stored On Your Device Only
To make the game work, Numbly saves a small amount of information locally on your device, and nowhere else: the age range chosen at setup (used to pick a starting difficulty); game progress such as levels, stars, and collected creatures; and parent settings such as enabled operations, number range, and sound on/off. This information never leaves the device — deleting the app deletes it.
Handwriting Recognition
The Write game recognizes digits your child draws using a machine-learning model that runs entirely on the device. Drawings are processed locally and are never uploaded, stored, or seen by us.
Purchases
Numbly offers one optional one-time purchase ("Numbly Premium"), processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, payment details, or Apple ID. Purchases sit behind a parental gate so children cannot buy anything on their own. Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policies at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
Children's Privacy (COPPA and Similar Laws)
Numbly is designed for children and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR, and Apple's Kids Category rules the simplest way possible: by collecting nothing at all. Because no personal information is collected from anyone, no parental consent for data collection is required, and there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. If a future version of Numbly ever changes how information is handled, we will update this page and the date above before that version is released.
